Over the last few seasons, matchups against the Titans have proven to always be tough for the Chiefs. Sunday night's win in Kansas City was no different, with Patrick Mahomes having to throw almost 70 times for over 300 yards in the team's overtime comeback win. While speaking to 610's The Drive on Monday afternoon, Mahomes explained what exactly makes games against Tennessee so consistently tough.
"That's a good football team, first off," he said. "They've got a lot of really good players. They're well-coached with Coach Vrable over there. And they play hard – they're going to play physical until the very end. People don't talk about them a lot, I don't know why. Because they don't have a big star other than Derrick Henry? They play a style of football that's hard for a lot of teams to play against."
