(610 Sports) – In what is already being billed as an instant classic, the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills combined for 974 yards of offense and 78 points in Sunday night's Divisional Round playoff game in Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium.
The two teams scored a total of 28 points in the fourth quarter, 25 of which came in just the last two minutes of regulation alone.
Speaking to reporters following the game, Chiefs' quarterback Patrick Mahomes was asked "if he had a sense in the moment what an epic game this was, that people are probably gonna be talking about this one for a long time?"
"Yeah, it's actually funny, a couple of weeks or maybe just last week, I was talking to Mike Remmers because he was in the 'Minnesota Miracle'," said Mahomes. "The final play, scoring the touchdown and winning the game at home. He was talking about how awesome the environment was and I was talking about how we had to play the Chargers, where we scored but we weren't at Arrowhead."
"So to be in this moment, this game, against that team and to make a play to walk-off a game at Arrowhead, I'll remember this for the rest of my life," said Mahomes.
