(610 Sports) – With news of today's blockbuster trade that sent Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos, the AFC West now has an embarrassment of riches at the quarterback position.
Joining perennial MVP candidate Patrick Mahomes, strong armed Justin Herbert and comeback king Derek Carr, the arrival of "Mr. Unlimited" Russell Wilson adds another bonafide star at the position for the Broncos.
The news of Wilson joining the Broncos in the AFC West had the NFL world shook and many took to social media to express their disbelief in the level of quarterback talent in the division.
"The AFC West is now totally stacked and the AFC quarterbacks in general are orders of magnitude better than the NFC’s collection," Outkick.com's Clay Travis wrote.
The Broncos, who were known to be in the market for a franchise quarterback, acquired Wilson and a fourth-round pick in exchange for two first-round picks, two second-round picks, QB Drew Lock, TE Noah Fant and DL Shelby Harris.
