These days, there are hundreds of thousands of different types of beer, most of them Very Good. But even as the market continues to expand, only one type of beer remains the true gold standard: free beer. Free beer is better than your go-to grocery store staple, and it's better than your neighborhood's local IPA. It's certainly better than Guinness. And now, thanks to Travis Kelce, the entire city of Kansas City will get to taste the sublime luxury that is beer, but free:
Some congratulations are in order. First and foremost: congrats to Kansas City for getting an entire day of Free Beer, which, you'll remember, many consider to be the best type of beer. Congrats to Travis Kelce for hitting bombs, and for getting out of wearing the TEU hat in the pic. Congrats to TopGolf for presumably hitting their monthly quota of Bud Light sales in a matter of hours. Congrats to every sports site that now has something to blog about on a Tuesday morning. Everyone won here; it's the magic of free beer. (Congrats to me for ending this blog with a rhyme.)
