Travis Kelce reaches 10,000 receiving yards for the Chiefs

(610 Sports) – Chiefs' All-Pro Travis Kelce became the fifth tight-end in NFL history to record 10,000 receiving yards on Sunday against the Denver Broncos.

Kelce eclipsed the 10,000 yard plateau in the first-half of Sunday's game after catching a pass across the middle from Chiefs' quarterback Patrick Mahomes and picking up 38 yards yards on the catch-and-run. The play was fitting, as Kelce has made a career out of finding soft spots in the defense and turning upfield for large chunks of yardage.

Entering the game, Kelce needed just 26 yards to hit the milestone and join the exclusive 10,000-yard club. He joins former Chiefs' tight-end Tony Gonzalez (15,127 yards), Jason Witten (13,046), Antonio Gates (11,841) and Shannon Sharpe (10,060) as the only tight ends in the league to do so.
