It's not very hard to find someone in the NFL that has something good to say about former Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith. Smith's reputation and resiliency made a major impact on three different organizations, and former NFL tight end Vernon Davis -- who played with Smith in San Francisco -- echoed those sentiments when he joined The Drive on Friday afternoon:
"He's a warrior, man," Davis said. "You want to talk about being resilient? He's probably the most resilient person I've ever met. I watched him get benched, I watched him struggling with offensive coordinator to offensive coordinator, and then persevering in that NFC Championship, the first time we went. Then he left San Francisco and went to Kansas City, and he exploded. He's just an unbelievable man. Unbelievable human being."
