Christine has been doing morning radio since 1991. She spent 18 years overseas while her dad was stationed at various Air Force bases as a career USAF officer. She got her start in radio at Armed Forces Radio and Television Network as an intern in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Christine has lived in 7 countries and visited 43 — a childhood she calls absolutely remarkable thanks to her dad’s service to country. She can converse in multiple languages after living all over the world, including Italian, Greek & Spanish. Christine attended the University of Nebraska, Lincoln where she achieved a Bachelor’s in Journalism in 1993. In 2018, Christine returned to school earning her Master of Science in Communication from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University online while continuing to do the morning show on 96.5 TIC — talk about burning the candle at both ends! Christine loves to read and started Christine's Book Club in 2024. She’s run three marathons and six half-marathons, gone skydiving and done a Tough Mudder but after becoming a Lupus and two-time Cancer survivor, she’s traded her running shoes for walking shoes. She is the co-founder and president of Rise and Shine CT, a non-profit helping kids and families here in Connecticut all year long. Christine has two grown sons, Alexander and Ian, plus two furry babies — a pair of pugs named Tank and Monty.
