This week’s Badass Woman of the Week is longtime Christine & Salt listener Tina Guzman, who first reached out because her 8-year-old son is a huge fan of the show. We gave him a call, and let us tell you — he is absolutely adorable.
But while chatting with Tina, we discovered something incredible—Tina is donating one of her kidneys to a complete stranger. Not a family member. Not a friend. A stranger. At a time when thousands of people are waiting for life-saving organ transplants, Tina made the extraordinary decision to step forward and give someone a second chance at life.It takes courage. It takes compassion. And it takes a truly remarkable person to make a sacrifice like that for someone they’ve never even met. Tina says she simply wants to help another human being. We’d say that’s the definition of a badass.
