Last year, Rachel Perry was getting ready for her very first year as a history teacher at Cromwell High School when Christine & Salt and our incredible listeners stepped in to Clear Her List! The generosity of our listeners helped stock Rachel’s classroom with the supplies she needed to start her teaching career. Now, one year later, we caught up with Rachel as she prepares to head back to school for her second year in the classroom. After enjoying a well-deserved summer break, Rachel joined Christine & Salt to reflect on her first year of teaching, how much those classroom supplies meant to her and her students, and why she’d encourage every Connecticut teacher to apply for this year’s Clear the List.
