The legendary rapper, actor, writer and producer joined Christine & Salt ahead of his performance at The Big E Arena in West Springfield on Saturday, October 3. From his groundbreaking days with N.W.A. to a solo career that gave us classics like “It Was a Good Day,” “Check Yo Self” and “You Know How We Do It,” Ice Cube has been one of the most recognizable names in hip-hop for nearly four decades.
And his career goes way beyond music. Cube has starred in, written or produced some of the biggest movies of his career, including Friday, Barbershop, Ride Along, 21 Jump Street, Are We There Yet? and Straight Outta Compton. Cube talked with Christine & Salt about his incredible career, his music, movies and what fans can expect when he takes the stage at The Big E this weekend.
