Our corporate overlords have spoken: radio studios should apparently have all the warmth and personality of a dentist’s waiting room. So naturally, we want you to redesign ours. We’re calling all designers, decorators, DIYers and creative chaos agents to take a look at the 96.5 TIC studio and show us what you’d do if there were absolutely NO corporate rules.

And to be clear: We cannot actually do any of this. Our corporate overlords like their studios clean, consistent and suspiciously devoid of personality. Think: Podcast Nightmare Chic. That’s why we want you to go completely nuts. Wallpaper the ceiling. Paint the walls. Give us a disco ball. Neon. Plants. A mural. Mid-century modern. Moody speakeasy. Maximalist insanity. Make the ceiling pink. We genuinely do not care. There are only two rules: the black couch stays and the broadcast console/equipment stays. Everything else is fair game. Take our photos, mock up your dream version of the studio and send or tag us in your design.

Will corporate approve it? NOPE. Will we show off our favorites on the air and on 96.5 TIC social media? ABSOLUTELY. So, Connecticut’s creative warriors: if this were YOUR studio, what would you do with it? Grab the photos above, do your thing and then post and tag us on social.

Please hurry — because if Christine gets final say, this place is about three throw pillows away from becoming a pink pug fever dream.
