We received an exciting call on the Christine and Salt show this morning from Leslie Ciarleglio, a devoted listener and member of the Northford-North Branford Women's Club. Leslie shared the fantastic news that her club has generously donated $610 to our beloved charity, Rise and Shine Connecticut! This donation was the fruit of their efforts from a golf fundraiser held in June.
Leslie described their club with warmth and enthusiasm: a lively ensemble of around 30 women, always open to newcomers, deeply passionate about championing causes for women and families, and equally fond of jubilant festivities. Once their fundraising efforts conclude, these spirited ladies love to unwind, toast to their successes, and indulge in some festive cheer! (Indeed, they're just our kind of people!) Given that Rise and Shine CT's core mission is to assist women and children throughout the year, it felt like a natural and harmonious partnership.
