According to the police, Frankie “was walking on Eighth Avenue between 43rd and 44th streets around 6PM Nov. 9 when the young brute and a 17-year-old cohort smashed the victim in the back of the head.”
Police say Grande was robbed of his Louis Vuitton bag with his iPhone, AirPods, sunglasses, and wallet. And additionally noted he refused medical attention at the scene.
The two accused teen muggers, the second of which the police described “13-year-old punk,” have since been apprehended after attempting to use Grande’s credit card at a nearby location.
Also reported to have been in the possession of an imitation pistol and razor blade, according to the police, the alleged assailants have been charged with robbery, grand larceny, unlawful use of a credit card, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of the stolen property, menacing, and harassment.
Frankie took to Instagram to address the matter, remaining vague yet grateful, writing, “Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I am so thankful to be safe and healing. Keep shining bright and stay safe out there."
