Wolcott, Conn./WTIC Radio - Three people are dead in Wolcott in a triple shooting.
Police there say on Thursday evening, David Cote shot his estranged wife and son, before he was shot by the son's friend with his legal firearm.
Early indications are the elder Cote opened fire during some type of dispute as he was moving out of a home on Bound Line Road.
The investigation is ongoing.
Wolcott Police Chief Edward Stephens says there is no threat to the public.
