New Milford, Conn./WTIC Radio - A New Milford accountant is accused of ripping off one of his clients.
Police in town say they, along with the IRS and the state Department of Banking, conducted a lengthy investigation into Carl Benjamin Anderson of Anderson Accounting and Finance, LLC.
Investigators say Anderson stole $25,000 from a client.
He faces a first degree larceny charge.
Anderson is free on a $100,000 bond.
He's due to appear in Torrington Superior Court January 3rd.
