Windsor Locks, Conn./WTIC Radio - Windsor Locks police are investigating bomb threats at two different schools in town today that forced evacuations and early dismissals.

Officers say around 10:44 a.m. a threat was called into North Street School, which has students pre-K to 2nd grade.

The decision was made to evacuate and dismiss the students.

About 45 minutes later, police say a second threat was called into South Street School with 3rd through 5th grade students.

The same protocols taken at North Street School were taken at South Street School, police said.

Windsor Locks and State Police assisted by bomb-sniffing dogs scoured the buildings and did not find any explosives.

Detectives say both calls were placed using an automated voice to disguise the caller and the origin of each call.
