WESTPORT, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - The Westport Animal Shelter Advocates (WASA) group says an owl found injured on the Merritt Parkway in Westport has been rescued and is recovering.
The team at WASA says the owl was found on the highway Monday morning, clearly dazed and confused and unable to fly.
Officials believe the owl was concussed when it was found but thankfully had no bodily injuries.
The owl is recovering at the Wildlife in Crisis center in Weston.
