Cromwell, Conn. (WTIC Radio)- The driver wanted in a motor vehicle collision involving a vehicle owned by the popular Big Green Truck Pizza has turned himself in, State Police said.
The incident occurred on Interstate 91 in Cromwell April 23rd. The driver is identified as 23-year-old Marcos Gomez of Hamden.
Police say he turned himself in last night. Gomez faces reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle with minimum insurance, evading responsibility and other charges. No one suffered injuries in the crash.

According to the arrest warrant, State Police posted dash camera footage on the public Twitter account. It shows Gomez's vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed, making a sudden lane change from the left lane to the right lane without braking and striking the Big Green Truck Pizza vehicle.
A GoFundMe account was established to help the company rebuild its truck and have a new oven made.
Bond for Gomez is $20,000.00. He appears in Middletown Superior Court May 31st.
