HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Hartford Police are investigating a fatal crash on Franklin Avenue that happened Wednesday morning.
Police say Jesus Torres, 58, of Hartford, was driving a Dodge Caravan in the area of Franklin Avenue and Brown Street when the Caravan got mangled in a wreck between a Lexus LS460 and a Dodge Charger around 11 a.m.
Torres was transported to Hartford Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The occupants of the Lexus LS460 were transported to the hospital by ambulance for treatment of serious injuries.
An occupant of the Dodge Charger was transported to the hospital by ambulance for non-life-threatening injuries.
