Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Hartford, with assistance from the FBI, have broken up a large-scale drug and firearms operation.
Police said they executed warrants Thursday at 26 Florence Street and 38 Amity Street while investigating what they called an operation involving multiple illegal firearms and drugs.
The detail netted officers nine firearms, nearly 600 grams of cocaine, about 1,400 grams of fentanyl, enough to package over 54,000 sleeves, along with marijuana and drug packaging material.
Under arrest is Kenny Laporte, 39, of the Amity Street address.
Police say Laporte is facing federal firearms and narcotics charges.
