HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - The Hartford Police Department is investigating a shooting that sent a 19-year-old victim to the hospital Monday afternoon.
In response to a shot spotter activation, officers were dispatched at about 3:13 p.m. to the area of 323 Zion Street.

A little under half an hour later, a 19-year-old boy arrived at an area hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound, police said.
The victim was listed in stable condition with a non-life-threatening injury, officers said.
Officers later determined that the incident involving the victim did occur in the area of 323 Zion Street.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crimes Scene Divisions have assumed the investigation.
