New Haven, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in New Haven are investigating a late Tuesday night home invasion.
Officers were called to an area of Fitch Street a little after 11:00 p.m.
That's where a male victim reported that two other males sprayed him with a fire extinguisher and demanded he empty his pockets.
They later fled the scene in the victim's car.
One suspect brandished a handgun and another the fire extinguisher.
The victim was not injured.
Police tracked the vehicle to the city's Fair Haven section but the suspects fled a traffic stop and found the vehicle was later found ditched in another area.
