Hartford, Conn./WTIC - State police have made an arrest in connection with a fatal crash last year in East Hartford.
Jeremy Ramos, 23, of Depew, New York, turned himself in at the state police Troop H barracks in Hartford.
He is accused in a November 16, 2023 crash invovlving a vehicle, tractor trailer, and box truck.
A passenger in Ramos's vehicle, Yomar Barrios of East Hartford, was killed.
Investigators says Ramos's Honda Accord struck the box truck then veered across several lanes of westbound Interstate 84 at exit 56 before hitting the tractor trailer.
Ramos faces several charges including manslaughter, speeding, operating without minimum insurance, reckless driving, and failure to maintain lane.
He's free on $250,000 bond and is due in court January 2nd.
