Man injured, arrest made in Guilford pedestrian crash

Guilford, Conn./WTIC Radio - A bicyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle over the weekend in Guilford.

Police say the crash occurred Saturday just after 3:35 p.m. on Leetes Island Road.

Investigators say the victim sustained serious injuries in the collision involving a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Neal Stom of Branford.

Officers say Stom was located at his home after the crash.

He's charged with evading responsibility.

Stom was driving a black 2018 Honda Accord Sport at the time, according to police.

He is free on $100,000 bond.

The investigation is ongoing and Guilford police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the crash.
