Windsor, Conn./WTIC Radio - A Windsor man is in the hospital after his dog apparently turned on him over the weekend.
Police say they were called to a home on River Street a little after 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
When they arrived they found the victim lying near the dog.
He'd been bitten about the body.
Police were able to secure the dog, a pit bull.
The man said the canine had a history of aggressiveness.
He was treated for bite marks and lacerations.
