New Haven, Conn./WTIC Radio - A man is in the hospital after New Haven police say he was shot while in his home Sunday night.
At around 10:15 p.m., officers were alerted to around three dozen gunshots fired in the area of Level Street near Brookside Avenue.
It was shortly thereafter that officers were called to Lodge Street on a report of a shooting victim.
Officers say the victim was sitting in his kitchen at the time he was shot.
He was rushed to Yale-New Haven Hospital where he is listed in critical but stable condition.
Detectives say it appears the victim was struck by a bullet that traveled through a window of the home.
