Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - The Connecticut State Colleges and Universities System and the Board of Regents met Thursday for the first time since the president of Central Connecticut State University stepped down amid a cloud of toxic work environment allegations.
Following the findings of an independent review, officials announced steps to improve transparency.
The former chancellor was reassigned amid questions about his spending.
His interim successor departed over sexual harassment allegations.
Regents interim chair Ari Santiago said "these changes are intended to provide greater clarity regarding CSCU community members rights, responsibilities, and expectations under CSCU policy and applicable state and federal law."
An accountability and reforms dashboard is being established to track policies and procedures, training, along with governance and accountability.
CSCU interim chancellor Natalie Braswell said a formal plan will be brought before the board following the current semester.
There will also be updated training and reporting obligations for sexual harassment.
