Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - State police and the Office of Inspector General are investigating an officer involved shooting Saturday in Hartford.
A little after 8:00 p.m., officers responded to the area of Broad and West Preston Streets.
Details are limited at this point.
Police say a male in his 40s was taken to a nearby hospital in critical but stable condition.
Investigators say a gun was recovered from the suspect after the incident.
