MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Middletown Police arrest a man in connection with a gun theft investigation.
Police say Matthew Springman, 49, surrendered when officers went to search his residence on Newfield Street.
Springman allegedly was stealing a number of firearms from another residence in the community.
Multiple guns have been recovered from Springman's home, according to police.
Springman was taken into custody on two outstanding re-arrest warrants for second degree failure to appear. More charges are expected.
