South Windsor, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in South Windsor are investigating after a motorcycle and another vehicle were involved in a crash in town this morning.
The mishap occurred on Route 5 near the Sullvan Street intersection.
Police say the operator of the bike suffered serious injuries and has been taken to an area hospital.
Route 5 was open in both directions but the center lanes and southbound were blocked as investigators processed the scene.
No word yet on the extent of the injuries or a cause of the crash.
