West Haven, Conn./WTIC Radio - One person is dead and another is in the hospital with serious injuries following a motorcycle versus pedestrian crash Sunday night in West Haven.
Around 10:00 p.m., police were dispatched to an area near 277 Campbell Avenue on a report of a motorcycle operator having struck a pedestrian.
The female pedestrian, identified as Jaymie Marazzi, 47, of West Haven was crossing the street when she was hit, detectives say.
The operator lost control, the bike skidding on its side before coming to rest.
That person is in the hospital in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
