Glastonbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police say an 18-year-old Glastonbury High School student was driving too fast and had an elevated blood alcohol level when he crashed a motorcycle into an SUV last fall, killing himself and a passenger in the other vehicle.

Officers say Gordon Southby also tested positive for THC in that September 25 crash in the area of Hebron Avenue and the Route 2 eastbound on ramp.

Glastonbury police were assisted in the investigation by the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad.

Also killed that night was 15-year-old Bacon Academy student Andra Spencer.
