Several struck by BB pellets in West Hartford

West Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Three people, including two juveniles, face a slew of charges in West Hartford after police say shots from a BB gun were fired at several people Saturday in a supermarket parking lot.

It was around 1:00 p.m. when officers were alerted to the incident at the Raymond Road Whole Foods.

Several people were struck by pellets, including one person who was shot in the face.

The suspect vehicle was tracked to Park and Raymond Roads, engaging officers in pursuit.

Police were later able disable the vehicle with stop sticks and apprehend the suspects.

Now, Luis Ortiz-Perez, 18, along with a 16-and-17-year-old, face numerous charges including reckless endangerment and breach of peace.
