West Haven, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Police in West Haven are investigating an early morning shooting.
They say one victim was found inside a home on Platt Avenue, not far from the high school.
The person was transported to an area hospital.
There's no word yet on the victim's condition.
Due to the proximity of the scene to the high school, police say their investigation could impact the commute in that area.
Police haven't said whether they have any suspects in mind or a motive for the shooting.
