Just before 4:30 Monday afternoon, investigators say three men entered a Rite Aid pharmacy on the Boston Post Road.

Officers say two of the suspects hopped over the drop-off counter and ordered an employee to open a safe containing narcotics.

The two passed the drugs to a third suspect, the three walking out of the store and fleeing in a newer model Buick or Nissan.

Detectives put the total value of the drugs at $15,000.

The suspects are believed to be black males in their teens to early 20s.

They are believed to have committed similar crimes in Orange and West Haven, police said.

Anyone with information or who may have been a witness to the theft is asked to contact Milford Police.
