Old Saybrook, Conn./WTIC Radio - Two people are in custody after Old Saybrook police received a report of a violent home invasion Friday morning.
Investigators say a man and a woman were arrested in connection with the incident on Beaver Dam Trail.
A caller to police reported the suspects, identified as Randolph Tucker and Kimberlee Tucker, both 53, entered the home around 8:30 a.m.
One of the suspects was armed with a baseball bat and struck two people in the home causing injury, police said.
They were transported to an area hospital.
Police say a third person was taken from the home by the suspects who fled.
The Tuckers were arrested and the third individual was taken to Norwalk Hospital for treatment.
Detectives say the investigation is ongoing and charges are forthcoming.
