HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - One woman is dead, and another is hospitalized in critical condition following a shooting early Monday in Hartford.
Police responded to an apartment on Evergreen Avenue before dawn to find the two victims-- both in their twenties, said authorities. One woman was pronounced dead at the scene; the other was taken to the hospital, said police.
It was the surviving woman who called 911, said police. They are investigating the shootings as a possible case of domestic violence.
The double shooting came less than a day after a Windsor man was fatally shot on Bellevue Street in Hartford.
