Vernon, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Police in Vernon have made an arrest in connection with a shooting in town last month.

Under arrest is Alexander Hernandez, 21, of New Britain.
Hernandez waived extradition back to Connecticut from Massachusetts, police said.
The shooting took place December 29 on Village Street. There were no injuries.
Hernandez faces a host of charges including criminal attempt at assault, criminal possession of a firearm, and illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle.
Bond was set at $350,000 and Hernandez is being arraigned today in Rockville Superior Court.
