WATERBURY, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Police officers in Waterbury arrested a man in Brass Mill Mall Monday afternoon after finding a loaded gun in his possession.
Officers were first dispatched to the mall at about 1:04 p.m. for a complaint of a domestic disturbance.
As police investigated, officers determined that Alexander Bowen, 21, was one of the involved parties of the disturbance.
Upon further investigation, officers located a loaded Glock Model 43 (9mm) in Bowen's possession, police said. The firearm was reported as stolen, according to police.
Bowen was also wanted for several outstanding warrants, police said. Officers arrested him with 10 different charges related to the outstanding warrants, the domestic incident and the weapons violations.
Waterbury police held Bowen on a $150,000 bond. Bowen was transported to court Tuesday morning.
