HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - A few inches of snowfall during the morning commute Wednesday led to some messy road conditions and subsequent crashes that lasted into the midday.
A jackknifed tractor-trailer crash closed I-95 in Stonington around 10:30 a.m.
Smaller but disruptive crashes have been reported on I-91 in Wethersfield and Meriden, Route 9 in Cromwell, I-84 in Manchester, and I-84 in Waterbury.
An earlier crash involving a tractor-trailer and a vehicle closed a lane on I-84 Westbound in Newtown but didn't close the highway.
