
Middletown, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Powerlines came down atop a school bus in Middletown this morning.
Lieutenant Brian Hubbs of the Middletown Police Department said the lines came down around a quarter to seven in the area of Saw Mill Road.

Eversource was called to the scene to cut power to the wires and safely remove them, he said
There were half a dozen children on board at the time.
An ambulance was put on standby nearby but there were no injuries, Hubbs said.
Once the lines were removed, the kids were transported to school without incident.
