Mansfield, Conn./WTIC Radio - A Massachusetts woman is accused of ringing up thousands of dollars in charges on credit cards belonging to an elderly man with whom she once lived in Mansfield.
Under arrest is Lisa Perreault, 66, of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts.
State police say they first got wind of Perreault's activity in 2024.
Troopers say family members of the man told them Perreault rang up charges to Amazon, as well as for education costs for her nursing license, a gym membership, food, auto and health insurance and phone accounts, according to an arrest warrant.
Investigators say over $78,000 was charged over three years.
Perreault is facing larceny charges and is free on $75,000 bond.
She's due in court November 18.
