Dr. Scott Hardeman said the severity of the virus, if you look at the hospital numbers in the area, has decreased some and overall we are rounding the curve.
We hear a lot about different therapeutics that could be helpful to combat the virus. Hardeman said from a physician’s perspective he wants all of these things to work so that we can work towards normalcy.
Although many of the new drugs have become political, Hardeman explained why some of the therapeutics being tested could help many folks.
If or when the vaccine is ready, the lift will be huge and it may take a while for it to percolate to the general public. The ones most likely to have access to this first will be the at-risk population and possibly the military.
