Tim Jones said anyone in a ‘social safety net’ currently has full access to Medicaid.
“We’re either going to have to raise taxes or cut the education fund,” he said on how we are going to pay for it.
Jones said we could not fiscally support this expansion. It would destroy Missouri’s currently balanced budget.
“40 % of our state budget currently goes to our Medicaid program,” he said.
