Congresswoman Wagner: ‘the fundamentals are strong and so is this country’

(KFTK) –  Congresswoman Ann Wagner called the show to discuss her sudden decision to self-quarantine after one of her colleagues tested positive for coronavirus.

“We all have to sacrifice. Everybody has to self-distance,” she said.

Wagner said it’s the Senate’s turn to pass a bipartisan bill that will help stabilize the economy and help big companies get on their feet while the lockdown because of COVID-19 is happening.

The Congresswoman said she will not be tested unless she starts to show symptoms, but she is being responsible with isolating herself from people and her colleagues.

When it comes to inventory of the country, are American’s uplifted or feeling totally defeated?

Wagner said when she looks around she sees people working together and wanting to create a safe, positive atmosphere.
