Chief economist at Illinois Policy Orphe Divounguy explained what the economic fallout will be in the state because of the coronavirus.
“There is a lot of loss and we are worried about people struggling to pay their bills,” he said.
Divounguy said we aren’t at the great depression yet but we can look at the great recession as a measurement of what could happen.
“We are optimistic that we can get this economy back,” he said.
