Politics Editor at Fox News Chris Stirewalt said after watching three days of the RNC, it seems like the message is, you don’t have to feel guilty for voting for this party because we are trying to broaden the tent.
Stirewalt said there are many people who are feeling iffy about Biden or Trump. If they watch these conventions, they may actually change the way they feel about the brand of the party.
“These conventions do the work of saying this is our billboard, this is what we stand for,” he said.
Biden didn’t get a huge boost out of his convention. This could have been because his convention went first and no one wants to go first.
“I think they both have done a pretty good job of getting their message out there,” he said. “I think they will both get something out of this.”
