Dr. Scott Hardemann: ‘I think it’s wise to exercise an extra layer of caution’ towards the elderly population

Dr. Scott Hardemann said the good news is that hospital entry in Missouri remains down and fewer people are on ventilators.

“I think this is going to be with us for a while,” he said about the longevity of the virus.

Is the testing ramping up in Missouri?

“The testing is ramping up,” Dr. Hardemann said. “Testing has been done in a lot of places.”

The president said in his rally that we should be slowing down testing. He might have said that tongue and cheek. But why would we slow down something that is still extremely important during the pandemic?

“Slowing down testing doesn’t really make sense,” he said.
