State Representative Darren Bailey sued J.B. Pritzker for his stay-at-home order for the state of Illinois.
Bailey didn’t sue the governor on behave of the state, he sued him personally.
He challenged the governor’s orders saying they are unconstitutional. He decided to keep it simple and not tag everyone’s name on it so that he could streamline it quickly.
That streamlining worked. The court sided in his favor.
“If you listen to the governor’s orders there is no enforcement because they aren’t law,” he said.
Pritzker is not too happy that the state rep got under his skin. He verbally attacked Bailey at the end of his press conference yesterday calling this a ‘cheap political stunt’.
