(KFTK) – The economy is strong and the stock market is just mobbing with the emotions of the country, Senator Blunt said.
“It’s not a reflection of reality and it’s not the thing to worry about.” US Senator Roy Blunt said. Normally with viruses like this, you can make it to the summer and it begins to disappear.
However, cases are popping up in countries with warm weather, so it may not be seasonal.
“You’re seeing dramatic changes that we have never seen before with social distancing,” Blunt said on the precautions schools, restaurants, and bars are taking to stop spreading COVID-19.
The Senator said this is what the government is for; it is there to defend us in times of a health crisis.
He pointed out that it is safer for governors’ to make the discussion that is right for their area.
“At the end of the day, I think it will be obvious that we will be better prepared,” he said about what the United States is doing compared to other countries who have taken major precautions on the virus.
